DPM Plugin is a DataMatrix decoding software, developed by 2D Technology Group specifically for DPM (“Direct Part Marking”), including Dot Peen, applications.
2DTG offers a DPM-grade decoding software adjusted for the Honeywell’s conventional reading platforms Xenon 1950, Xenon 1952, Vuquest 3320g, N5600 series OEM miniature imaging engines and Granit 1910i/1911i/1920i/1990i/1991i in the form of the “easy-to-load” datamatrix reader plugin, as a cost-effective alternative to the specialized DPM scanners.

Powered by Honeywell’s TotalFreedomTM open-system architecture, DPM Plugin extends the capabilities of these industry-leading imaging platforms into DPM area. The product has been certified by the Honeywell for use on this platform. 2DTG is the Honeywell Total FreedomTM Certified Developer.
The DPM Datamatrix Decoder can be pre-installed on select Honeywell imaging products or purchased as a standalone upgrade. As an add-on feature designed specifically for DPM application it leaves all scanner’s standard performance features unimpaired. The use of DPM Plugin makes Adaptus 6.0 platform, in effect, a solid DPM reader for a fraction of cost.
For high density images (cell size less than 5-6 mil) 2DTG offers DPM Adapter - optical addition to the Xenon 1950/1952 scanner designed to extend its capabilities into DPM area..
How to Buy
Download the trial version of the DPM Plugin and follow the “Plugin Installation Instructions” - the Plugin installation should only take about 1-2 minutes (trial version is fully functional but decode output is slightly modified – some characters are replaced with asterisks).

If you already have a Xenon 1950/1952, Granit, Vuquest 3320g or Voyager 1470g/1472g/1602g unit and want to extend its capabilities to DPM area:
- Request Quote for OEM Pricing (high volume licensing), or
- Add to Cart to purchase Plugin license. At the end of the Check-Out process please enter the 10-character Serial Number(s) of your device(s) in the Order Comments window (it is recommended to scan all serial numbers into this window to avoid typos).
- License Command Code and License Number (20 characters string) for each submitted Serial number will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours. You can also see this number(s) in “My Account” section of the site (referring to your Order No.) when you logged in.
Scan received License Command Code and your Imager is ready for use (see Plugin Installation Instructions (right column) for detail).
